Everyone:      The OhioDepartment of Education just issued new guidelines on gifted identification and assessment, of interest to all in the gifted community:     “The OhioDepartment of Education has received several inquiries regarding managing thelegal requirements for gifted assessments, notification and service. Inparticular, requirements pertaining to students' screening for giftedness are aconcern, while schools are attempting to maximize instructional time.
