Creativity and Creative Thinking in the Classroom
Featuring: Chris Taibbi , Gifted Consultant with Pieces of Learning



Chris began his teaching career as an educator in a full-time center for gifted education with Roanoke City Schools in Virginia. For the past 20 years he has had the opportunity to teach all levels, Kindergarten through 12th grades. Chris has co-taught graduate level university classes for adults seeking to enter the teaching profession, and he has served as a consultant for a variety of school districts on the East coast with an emphasis on differentiation of instruction. Chris has co-authored four books for teachers and has received teaching awards for his own work in the classroom. He maintains a professional blog for Psychology Today. Chris graduated from the College of William and Mary and received a Masters in Teaching from Hollins University. He is currently a gifted education specialist for Salem City Schools.
