[Ohiogift] Smart leaders

Folks,

Most of us who have a strong interest in helping gifted and talented
students (and their teachers!) know we often face obstacles. One I saw
today is from Scientific American:
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/why-people-dislike-really-smart-leaders/

The article outlines why smart leaders (and, by extension, gifted people)
often are disliked, sad to say.

I guess we just need to be vigilant on the value and necessity of gifted ed
programs and other support for this community.
