OAGC June News Flash -- Summer Gifted Academy; Fall Conference and Advocacy News
Professional Development
Summer Professional Development
OAGC is now taking registration for OAGC Gifted Summer Academy (summer professional development for classroom teachers) to be held on June 27 and 28 in Worthington, Ohio. The two day session will include fifteen hours of training on the first year of the recommended OAGC HQPD sequence. Space is limited, so please register soon. Fall Conference
OAGC is finalizing the OAGC program for October 15 - 17, 2017. Our keynoters will be Dr. James Webb and Ian Byrd. Along with these amazing keynoters, we will have many excellent small sessions. Information on keynoters and small sessions will be posted on the OAGC fall conference website by June 10th.
Advocacy

State Superintendent's Committee on Assessments

State Budget News
The Ohio Senate will be finishing up hearing on the state budget next week and is expected to introduce a substitute bill. OAGC will provide regular updates on the progress of the state budget through June 30th.
