[Ohiogift] Summer Laureate 2017 program reminder

Dear Colleagues,
 
The Summer Laureate 2017 program will take place this year June 12-June16 at the University of Dayton.
 
This learning and enrichment program held daily from 8:30 a.m.to 3 p.m. in the Kennedy Union on the campus. The event isfor students entering grades 3 through 8 in September 2017. Pleaseencourage your students to participate. Deadline for nominations is April 21.After the deadline, call (513) 753-9143 for possible openings.
 
Our staff continually works to have a tremendous, high-qualityweek for the kids. All the details of TheSummer Laureate 2017 are in the attached brochure (readable in abrowser and printable). This includes registration information, classes, deadlines, and feeschedule. You’ll also find descriptions of nearly 20 workshops beingoffered. The workshops are designed for students in two tiers, grades 3-5and 6-8.
 
Please sharecopies of The Summer Laureate 2017brochure with your students and their parents/guardians right away. Also, theSummer Laureate Hotel Guide is attached; it is for students and theirfamilies who might need accommodations for the weeklong event. Thanks! 
 
We would be grateful for any help you can give us. Remember: The deadlinefor The Summer Laureate 2017nominations is April 21. Those who are selected will be notified on May 5.
