*The 2017 Martin W. Essex School for the Gifted and Talented™ at Otterbein
University offers rising high school juniors and seniors opportunities for
career exploration through a unique program comprised of classes, seminars
and workshops on the arts, sciences and humanities. Taking place in
multiple venues throughout Otterbein’s campus, this residential program
encourages social interaction and peer discussion so that students can be
challenged intellectually and artistically and develop a better
understanding of the role of their abilities*

*EVENT SCHEDULE:* This residential camp will feature daily workshops and
seminars as well as evening field trips and events.

America: From Coal Miners to Cowboys, an Extraordinary Exploration of the

copy); The Creative and Studio Arts (Drawing, Printmaking, Paper
Engineering, etc.); Explorations in Science (Environmental Chemistry,
NanoTechnology, The Chemistry of Dyes and Dyeing, etc.); Voice and Movement
in Acting; Sustainability
