Advocacy

Gifted Operating Standards Update and Importance of Voting for State Board
Members

The state board continues to work on the gifted operating standards.
Hopefully, a much improved draft will be voted out of the achievement
committee in November. What happens beyond then is a matter of what the
composition of the state board is in January. For more information, please

Coordinator Division Winter Workshop

The OAGC Coordinator Workshop is right around the corner. The
workshop,"Impacting Gifted Student Outcomes in the Age of Accountability"
features Karin Hess, and will be held on December 2 at the Quest Center in

Teacher Academy Call for Proposal

We had many great small sessions for the fall conference. If you would like
to present at the Spring Teacher Academy (February 27th and 28th, 2017),

proposal. Proposals are due December 15th.
