OAGC August News Flash -  Fall Conference and Advocacy Update

Fall Conference Registration Information

OAGC has an amazing conference planned! You may register for the conference
and book a hotel room now.  Remember: the hotel room block books quickly so
don't delay. Keynote and small session information is available along with
information regarding registration, vendor prospectus, and parent day at

annual award in one of our many categories. Nomination information is at

Advocacy

Gifted Operating Standards Update

There is little new to report regarding the gifted operating standards. The
State Board of Education will not meet in August. A new draft of the gifted
standards is expected to posted on the ODE website sometime in August and
presented to the State Board Achievement committee at the September board
meeting.  For updates on the standards process, please visit the Advocacy
