A message from ODE to parents and advocates for Ohio’s gifted students:


The Ohio General Assembly has directed the Ohio Department of Education to examine the feasibility of the establishment of a start-up community school in each of the sixteen regions of the Educational Regional Service System to serve primarily identified gifted students.  An important part of this study is a survey of parents and others interested in educational services for children identified as gifted.
