[Ohiogift] Student Work

Studies show* that students who watch less television and do more homework
are more likely to win spelling bees and science competitions, and to graduate
from high school on time, and to succeed in college and in their later careers—
regardless of their race, ethnicity, creed, gender or national origin. Educators
are baffled by these findings, which seem to diminish, by implication,
the importance of the work of educators at all levels, up to and
including the U.S. Department of Education.
