[Ohiogift] Gifted testing for a child with visual processing issues

For all the assessment experts on the list.

A friend's child is being considered for the gifted program but he has
fairly significant visual processing issues that would interfere with the
results of testing.  Would you have any guidance as to:

(1) What instruments would allow him to show his ability rather than the
challenge?

or
(2) Who might be a good resource to ask about this issue?
