[Ohiogift] Ray Swassing and Jeanne Goertz

Hi everyone, 

As some of you may be aware, Ray Swassing was the founder of Ohiogift. He was Professor Emeritus of gifted education at OSU, and has been an influence on so many people in the gifted community over the past forty years. Ray passed away on Wednesday evening. The funeral information is as follows: 

Viewing is Sunday 2:00-4:00 at Rutherford Funeral Home in Worthington, funeral at 10:00 am Monday at the OSU Newman Center, burial at Resurrection Cemetery. 

Ray was just a treasure. He will be truly be missed by so many. 

I also have the misfortune of sharing the news that another member of the gifted community, former ODE gifted consultant, Jeanne Goertz, passed away yesterday. Funeral arrangements are pending.
