Grade 5 Self-Contained Gifted Classroom Teacher for 2016-2017 school year
Position:  Gifted Intervention Specialist
Location:  Noble 4-5 Elementary School, Tiffin, Ohio
Date Available: August 2016
We are seeking an ambitious and creative teacher for our fifth grade
self-contained gifted classroom.  All of the students in this class have
been identified as gifted in superior cognitive thinking skills and/or
individual subject areas using criteria from the Ohio Department of
Education.  The successful applicant will have a broad understanding of the
needs of gifted students and be able to weave rigorous, hands-on lessons
that allow for student collaboration within common themes.  Applicant must
have a gifted endorsement on their elementary teaching license or have the
endorsement added to their license effective July 2016 with 6 semester
hours in gifted endorsement work at an accredited university in order to
