             Mensa Testing Update

Please note the corrected date (below) for the testing in March. The test also is offered in April.

  Background information on qualifying tests:
Many Mensa member qualify by "prior evidence", documented results of a test taken in the past. It is our understanding that Ohio public school systems administer one of the Ravens tests to determine student intelligence and potential. Mensa accepts the Ravens Progressive Matrices – PLUS and the Ravens Advanced Progressive Matrices. The Ravens Standard Progressive Matrices (RSPM) is not a test we accept any longer. That test was compromised when the questions and answers were posted online so the decision was made to not accept it all anymore.

Upcoming testing sessions in the Dayton area:

Saturday, March 12, 2016 starting at 3:00 PM in the community room of the Belmont Branch Library, 1041 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. Test takers should arrive about 15-20 minutes prior to starting time to complete registration. Picture ID is required. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated once testing has started. The test takes about two hours.

Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Dayton Hotel, 2301 Wagner Ford Rd. on Saturday, April 2, 2016, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM in conjunction with a Mensa Regional Gathering.
