[Ohiogift] Chromebooks in the classroom online conference

 An online site for educators - SimpleK12 - is sponsoring a free online conference on using and mastering Chromebooks in the classroom. While not specifically for the gifted community, the site and conference look promising.
  
 Their message: "On Saturday, March 12th, our expert trainers will start with the basics of Chromebooks in the classroom, and then build from there to help you feel confident using Chromebooks with your students."
 
 During the conference, you will learn these basics:
    -  Master the basics of your Chromebook  -  Discover 20+ Chrome extensions for your classroom  -  Learn tips and tricks for going paperless    -  Discover ideas for student projects and activities    -  Find new ways to differentiate instruction    -  Explore Google Chrome and its benefits
