[Ohiogift] Karina Eide Dyslexic Advantage Scholarship for college students

The Dyslexic Advantage Karina Eide Memorial Scholarship Program will award scholarships of $2500 to sixteen dyslexic students who are currently enrolled in college, university, or vocational school. The purpose of these awards is to identify and support the development of dyslexic students with outstanding future potential who may not be competitive for other scholarships that are based on grades or test scores. Scholarship funds are to be used to pay tuition or other school-related expenses.

All applicants must have successfully completed at least one academic term in their current school by March 1, 2016, and must demonstrate financial need. Applicants must also show personal dedication to building and using their talents, and have at least one more year left in school.

This application form will help us determine which candidates best meet these criteria. 

Also, you are required to have one adult who knows you well but is not a family member submit a letter of recommendation. You can send an email request to your chosen recommender by hitting the "Request Letter of Recommendation" tab on the Main Menu, which you reach right after the login page.

Final deadline for completion of application is March 1, 2016. However, ONLY 300 APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED, AND THE APPLICATION PROCESS WILL CLOSE AFTER THE 300TH APPLICATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED. So students are encouraged to complete their application as soon as possible.
