Gifted Operating Standards Update

ODE's gifted operating standards survey will be summarized and shared with
the State Board Achievement Committee on Monday, November 16th. Public
testimony will also be taken. If you wish to testify, please email
[1]anngift at aol.com . It is also important for gifted advocates to continue
to members of the state board of eduation.  For more information, please go

OAGC Coordinator Workshop -- December 4, 2015

The OAGC Coordinator Division Winter Workshop, "All Things Acceleration" is
schedueld for Friday, December, 4, 2015. This workshop features Ann
Lupkowski-Shoplik, one of the co-authors of the new "Nation Empowed" book.

Teacher Academy Call for Proposal

OAGC is now taking proposals for the Spring Teacher Academy, which will be
held on Feburary 29th and March 1st, 2015. Bertie Kingore will be our
keynote speaker for this event. If you would like to submit a small session
proposal for the Teacher Academy, please go to
[4]www.oagc.com/teacheracademy.asp .The deadline to submit a proposal is
December 15, 2015.
