 FREE PARENT SESSION OPEN TO THE PUBLICPSEO Graduates to CollegeCredit Plus: Ohio’s Remodeled Plan for Free College Courses to Qualified 7th-through 12th-GradersSaturday,January 24, 2015     9:45-11:15 a.m.Even aslimited as Ohio’s gifted funding is, its College Credit Plus program is awindfall for families.  Over the summer,the state legislature overhauled the PSEO (Post-Secondary Enrollment Options)program as well as various dual enrollment programs in high schools to createthe new College Credit Plus program. Much is the same as PSEO, but there are some big changes too.  Join Gifted Intervention Specialist AnneFlick to learn how all Ohio students—in public, charter, or private schools aswell as homeschooled—have access to free college courses in grades 7 through12.  Come learn, too, about the deadlinesfamilies must meet, beginning March of the student’s 6th gradeyear.  Discuss how to determine when yourchild is ready for college coursework, and discover the long-term benefits giftedyoung adults now enjoy after participating in the predecessor program.
