Susan,

I apologize for sending half a message. My internet has been crazy. This
is what I wanted to say.

Here is what I've done for my districts in the past:

Strasburg-Franklin Local Otis-Lennon Ability Test, 2nd and 5th grade in
the Fall
Newcomerstown Otis-Lennon Ability Test, 2nd grade in the
Spring. We use STAR Enterprise Reading and Math as a
                                         pre-screener. On any child
scoring a 95% or better, we ask the parents for permission to assess using
the
                                         Stanford
Conotton Valley Otis-Lennon Ability Test, 2nd grade in the
Fall
Lakeland Academy Otis-Lennon Ability Test, 2nd grade in the Fall

In all my districts we also encourage referrals from staff and parents.

I am in the process of meeting with my superintendents to look at changes
to the tests we give, the grades we test and the time of year that we test.
