[Ohiogift] Research In Schools

Hi Everyone,

It has come to my attention (thank you for the phone calls!) that there is a person dropping my name in the attempt to gain access to GT classrooms for research purposes. Please note that I am currently not working with any students gathering research data; and, if I were, there would be documentation (a signed IRB/HSRB document detaining the study and the parameters) provided prior to a push for access.

If you are approached by anyone using my name or affiliation in the attempt to gain access to your buildings/schools/classrooms, please contact me and provide details about the “ask.” My reputation as a researcher/scholar is very important to me. I do not want anyone without approved permission or my knowledge attempting to approach you or especially our GT kids for any reason.

Thanks for your attention to this matter. I’ll chalk it up to “weird Monday” stuff….If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me directly.
