[Ohiogift] (no subject)

I am receiving questions regarding tests for gifted screening/ID and
acceleration.  By looking at the approved list of tests, the MAP tests can
be used to screen/ID for gifted achievement, but not ability.  Am I
correct on this? 

Can the MAP scores be used for subject acceleration as well?

And, if these scores can be used, does this mean that these scores are
half-nationally normed, since we are in a cohort of 23 or so states?
