A nice piece. . . I wonder what IQ assessment was used by the "teacher," as
was mentioned. One would hope that they had her assessed by a licensed
psychologist. A 135 IQ. . . It would be interesting to see if that fluctuate
over the years due to early exposure and enrichment. I liked her father's
comment about possibly skipping a generation. I do believe that school
systems need to provide rigorous opportunities for primary students. That is
the ideal time to introduce a second language, not when they are in high
school.
