to help protect wildlife while working at a state park that is a Civil War-era fort situated on an island in the Delaware River. It is open to the public in the spring, summer, and fall and it includes living history demonstrations for individuals and groups.
The fort maintains temperatures and humidity that also make it ideal for hibernating bats in the winter and it is a site where bats have been documented with White-Nose Syndrome.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
