<a href="https://batweek.org/" target="_blank"><span style="color:#954F72">National Bat Week</span></a> is fast approaching (October 24-31, 2020)! Last year, <a href="https://cpb-us-w2.wpmucdn.com/u.osu.edu/dist/d/89460/files/2020/06/bat-week.jpg" target="_blank"><span style="color:#954F72">Ohio
government officially recognized the week</span></a>, so this year, members of the Ohio Bat Conservation Plan's Education and Outreach Committee wanted to provide some Ohio-specific resources. We have created the
</span><b><u><span style="color:#C00000">Ohio <a href="https://u.osu.edu/obwg/batweek/" target="_blank">
<span style="color:#C00000">Bat Week Video Series</span></a></span><span style="color:#C82613">,</span></u></b><span style="color:#201F1E"> which features 9, 15-minute videos <span style="background:white">on a variety of topics – bat habitat, Ohio species,
threats the Ohio bats, how to help bats, what to do if you find a bat (single bat or colony), and more. </span><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="xmsonormal" style="background:white"><span style="color:#201F1E">I want to give special thanks to everyone on the Education and Outreach Committee and to Jen Denison for leading us, but I especially want to thank the authors of the videos: Sarah Stankavich,
Danielle Thompson, Melissa Proffitt, Cindy Maravich, Tammy O'Neil, and Rick Shears. All worked very hard to produce these videos, which if you've never done before, takes more time that you'd think. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
