[OHIOBWG] Next week's Annual Meeting INFO

Hello OBWG Members!

Our 11th annual meeting is next Monday, on January 23, 2023, at the ODNR Offices (Building E first floor conference room, 2045 Morse Rd, Columbus. When you enter the building, there will be signs directing you to the conference room. The meeting will start at 9:45 am, but doors will open at 9:30 - please come early to enjoy a light breakfast and networking with bat-minded people! The final agenda is attached. We still have room for posters, so please let me know if you intend to bring one.


As an agenda item, we plan to revisit the Ohio Bat Conservation Plan, as it is due to be updated this coming year. We will be discussing which of plan's goals and objectives we have accomplished to date and have a light discussion on some ideas for the plan update. ABOUT FOOD - We will provide a light breakfast and tea and coffee. Consider bringing your own travel/coffee mug. Please consider bringing a lunch so conversations and networking can continue over lunch. There are restaurants nearby however, if you prefer to go out for lunch.

Keep sending any bat pictures to Sarah Stankavich (sstankavich at batcon.org<mailto:sstankavich at batcon.org>.), as she is working on a slideshow to run during breaks.  On that note, if there are any upcoming events you would like us to advertise for you - send them to Sarah as well, to include in the slideshow.
