Marne,Would you please forward the message below to the Ohio Bat Working Group?  Thanks and take good care!

Hello Bat Friends!
Just in time for Bat Week and the Halloween season, I wanted to share our Little Brown BATitat rain barrel that is available for bid as part of our Rain Barrel Yard Art Campaign.  This barrel was painted by local artist, Taryn Zwolinski, and minimum bids start at $90.  At the moment, there are no bids on this barrel so now is the time to pounce!  Thought you would enjoy reading her attached rain barrel description poem - just click on the picture of the barrel below (and see browse all 7 barrels if you're so inclined!).  Thanks again for all of your efforts to help bats continue to fly high!  Now off to do a Girl Scout bat program.  Woo hoo!

| There's Still Time to Bid! The Countdown Continues on our Painted Rain Barrel Auction
One month remains to place a bid in our 2020 Rain Barrel Yard Art Campaign! Imagine one in your landscape or as the perfect gift. By collecting rooftop runoff for watering landscapes, these decorated barrels will help save water, alleviate flooding, and reduce stormwater pollution. Seven local artists have transformed 55-gallon recycled plastic barrels into beautiful, repurposed rain barrels that uniquely reflect Geauga County’s natural, cultural, agricultural, or historical resources. These decorated rain barrels are available for bidding until Friday, October 30th. Be sure to check current bid amount for each barrel prior to submitting a bid. |
