Folks:

I am interested in collecting photos and/or anecdotal observations of bats tangled in mesh screening.

Some screen used inside bat houses is too large and bats can end up getting a forearm stuck thru it, or the mesh becomes separated and bats get trapped behind it and die. Also this can happen when bird netting type screen is used instead of window screen during one-way doors on bat exclusions.

If you have such snapshots or at least a tale you can contribute please email me direct; or maybe this isn’t a problem and I’m just off my rocker?
