Subject: [MWBWG] Bat field technician positions in IL


Illinois Natural History Survey is seeking 2-3 hourly bat field technicians from May 1 - August 31, 2017 (start and end dates flexible) to conduct biological assessments of bridges and suitable bat habitat. Technicians MUST have a Bachelor's Degree in Ecology, Wildlife, Natural Resources, or a related field. This position requires extensive traveling throughout Illinois to complete field work. The candidate will prioritize taskings, determine routes to field sites, edit and write reports. Potential for mist netting bats and trapping small mammals dependent on project taskings. Overnight work may be required. No housing is provided, but there are many summer sublets available (college town).
