Save the Date: 2018 Joint Bat Working Group Meeting, March 27-29, Roanoke, VA

This is an FYI for you to SAVE THE DATES for the 2018 Joint Bat Working Group Meeting and Mammal Colloquium held in Roanoke, Virginia. The meeting starts at 8:00 a.m. March 27 and ends at 5:00 p.m. March 29.  This is a joint meeting between the Northeast Bat Working Group, Southeast Bat Diversity Network, and Midwest Bat Working Group. The Mammal Colloquium will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, March 28 and 29, and is open to anyone who wants to submit an abstract. A plenary session on Tuesday March 27 will focus on Bat Migration, On-shore and Off-shore Wind Energy, and the MOTUS tracking system. Business meetings for the working groups and federal updates will be presented on Wednesday and are open to all attendees. The meeting is being held at the Hotel Roanoke in Roanoke, Virginia. A detailed program, call for abstracts, registration, room reservations, and additional information will follow later this summer.
