Acoustic Bat Monitoring Class with a focus on preparing for the North American Bat Monitoring Protocol

This class will be offered immediately before the North American Joint Bat Working Group meeting in St Louis MO.  Course contents include:  the use of both Anabat and Wildlife Acoustics hardware pertinent to conducting passive and mobile surveys, the fundamentals of bat acoustics, the physics of ultrasound, manual bat call ID, the use of AnalookW Analysis software, NABat monitoring protocol, detector deployment, dealing with large datasets, report writing, advanced analysis using automated programs including AnalookW filters and scans, BCID, Echoclass, and KaleidoscopePro.

Class time:
Noon Feb 26 -Noon March 3 in St Louis, MO
