What we are looking for in our bat acoustic volunteers includes someone willing to commit to running the surveys over multiple years. Each route will need to be surveyed 3 times in the month of July. The routes are each 30 miles long and will need to begin 30 minutes after dusk. Routes are driven at low speeds and generally take about 2-3 hours to complete. Two people are needed to conduct each survey, one to drive and one to record the information. All of the supplies will be provided and I can set up a time for training on the equipment and survey details.

The following is a list of counties where we have vacancies:
Seneca, Huron, Lorain, Medina, Wyandot, Crawford, Richland, Ashland, Wayne, Marion, Morrow, Knox, Holmes, Coshocton, Tuscarawas, Muskingum, Guernsey, Noble, Monroe, Washington, Morgan, Athens, Meigs
