In our search to fill our current vacancy for bat researchers, Jackson Environmental Consulting Services, LLC is conducting market research to determine the level of interest in three types of positions. All three require a seasoned bat researcher who already holds a federal collecting permit for bats and has project management experience in a consulting environment. Primary responsibilities include conducting bat surveys throughout the Eastern United States, managing all bat related projects, field work and coordination with state and federal agencies. Salary will be determined based on a review of candidate experience and qualifications.

Position Type A: Full time bat researcher position. This position will require relocation to our Richmond, Kentucky office.

Position Type B: Full time, telecommuting bat researcher position. This position will allow candidate to work from home for a negotiable time period.

Position Type C: Seasonal bat researcher position. Candidate will be required to work from May 1 to August 30 with an option to work Sept. 15 - Oct. 31.
