Hey Anthony - I have a question regarding the below email. Perhaps you can answer it? I administer a mailing list with this address: ohiobwg at lists.service.ohio-state.edu<mailto:ohiobwg at lists.service.ohio-state.edu>

I don't know if this is hosted on the Communigate system or not. I'm thinking not since I had to call main campus to set it up, not the college. Just checking to see if I need to fill out the form or not.

We are in the process of migrating all CFAES employees to the new University E-mail Service.  This "one university" service for faculty and staff is replacing the existing college e-mail system, Communigate (@cfaes.osu.edu), which also includes all of the domains listed at the bottom of this email.

In addition to our desktop technicians working to migrate all CFAES employees to the University e-mail service, our college will also need to migrate any mailing lists that are hosted on the Communigate system.  With hundreds of mailing lists on the current system, and many of these lists being outdated, obsolete, and/or abandoned, the decision has been made that we will only migrate the lists that are requested by a CFAES employee.  Please be assured our technicians will work to ensure that all necessary college and department wide mailing lists are migrated.

If you have subscribed to a mailing list, there is no action you need to take to continue receiving emails from that mailing list.

If you have a mailing list that you administer, you will need to complete and submit the attachedform to your desktop support technician or the CFAES Help Desk.  For some of you, like those of you who are supported by OARDC IT, your mailing lists may have been migrated already, and will not need to be moved again.  Please check with your desktop technician if you are unsure if your list has been migrated.

All mailing lists remaining on the following domains will be deleted when the Communigate server goes offline on 12/31/2012 unless a migration request form is submitted.
