<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Three</b> deserving students will be awarded a $1000 scholarship. Please encourage your student workers within the Registrar’s, Admissions, Student Services and Enrollment Management offices to apply for the OACRAO scholarship!

<p class="MsoNormal">The recipients of this scholarship are students who exemplify leadership and exceptional service skills. They are our future.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The deadline to submit the application is <b>November 1, at 5 p.m.

<p class="MsoNormal">84 applications were submitted in 2017.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">150 applications were submitted in 2018.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Please continue to give to this worthy effort to help others continue their education. We must sustain. We would prefer to not to be in a situation, where we must lower the scholarship amounts that we award.  We would rather not continue

 to deplete the OACRAO account. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">In the first year of the existence of the OACRAO Scholarship Committee, 2 students were awarded $500 scholarships. OACRAO was able to work diligently towards increasing their effort, to provide a $1000 scholarship to 3 students.  It is

 wonderful to be a part of growth.  What can each OACRAO member do <u>throughout the year</u>, to help contribute to this important gift to Ohio students?  Even a small donation from each member would add up. Perhaps some of us can conduct small fundraisers

 within our offices, within our divisions or communities. The Scholarship Committee would love to raise at least $3000 each year.  Last year we raised $1804 and this year,

so far $1813.  It ain’t over folks!  You can still help us reach our goal.  We have 78 days remaining, until Dec 31, 2019.
