Hi Higher Education Financial Wellness colleagues -

It's time to start thinking about America Saves Week 2018!

For the last decade, America Saves Week<http://americasavesweek.org/> has been an annual opportunity for financial institutions, academic institutions, government agencies, employers, bloggers, and hundreds of other organizations to promote good savings behavior and a chance for individuals to assess their own saving status. Typically thousands of groups participate, reaching millions of people each year. America Saves Week is coordinated by America Saves<https://americasaves.org/> and the American Savings Education Council<http://www.choosetosave.org/asec/>.

This coming year, America Saves Week will take place from Monday, February 26 to Saturday, March 3, 2018. Each day will feature a new focus, such as saving for rainy days or for retirement. Throughout the week, there will be different engagement opportunities, including a photo/video contest, tweet chats, free tools and resources, and more.

I encourage you to sign up<https://americasavesweek.org/sign-up/> and join us as we motivate and support Americans to save effectively. When you sign up to participate, you will be listed as a participating organization<https://americasavesweek.org/participating-organizations/> on americasavesweek.org and receive an America Saves Week participation badge<https://americasavesweek.org/logos-web-badges-banners/#badges> to share on your website and on materials. You will also receive a toolkit, graphics, and other resources to help you plan successful savings activities.
