[Natfinwellness] Student loan refinancing

There are many of these types of companies popping up now and the best advice is to steer clear of them all.  Any student who has borrowed FEDERAL student loans should only work with U.S. Department of Education Federal Student Aid on repaying those loans (https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/repay-loans).

While working with a graduating student this morning, he asked about a student loan refinancing company called Earnest.  He is thinking of applying but wanted to know more about them.  Does anyone have any experience or heard anything about Earnest? Any info I can pass on to him would be great.
