[Mvapich-discuss] Build failure with NVHPC compilers

Hi Martin,

This is very odd, that is a requirement for MV2, . I suspect Spack is using an internal version of Automake that is outdated. Let me take a look on one of our Rocky 8 systems and see if I can find a fix for this. In the meantime, if you know of a way to override Spack's internal version with your system installation, that would be worth a try.

I admit that I have no idea where the automake-1.15 requirement comes from, we have automake 1.16.1 on the Rocky 8 system where I am building.

Any thoughts on that?
