Hi, Jens.

I went over the report quickly and see that issues have been reported from HWLoc code, higher level MPICH code as well as code contributed to MPICH from other organizations such as IBM. 

Since MVAPICH2 depends on these organizations for some portions of the source code, we (unfortunately) will not be able to fix the spelling mistakes reported from these areas of the code to avoid merge conflicts when doing future merge operations.

However, we will definitely fix the issues in the code that we own.

By the way, since the (mis)spelling of "guarentee" (-> "guarantee" ?) occurs 676 times that word was put in the list of FPs in order to make the error list itself a little bit clearer.

Although the correction of misspellings and typos has probably not a top priority, I hope that the report can nevertheless be a little bit useful.
