Hi, Sylvain.

Thanks for reaching out to us.

We are in the process of doing the merge to the upstream MPICH 3.3 code. However, that may take some more time. In this context, if you could kindly give us a patch based on MVAPICH2 2.3GA, we should be able to include it in our next release sooner.

Best Regards,
Hari.

Subject: [mvapich-discuss] Support of DDN Infinite Memory Engine (IME) to ROMIO

Hi MVAPICH community,

My company (DDN storage) is developing a burst buffer technology called IME (Infinite Memory Engine).

We recently made some patches to ROMIO, which were accepted and finally merged into MPICH (see this link for more details about the patch
series: https://github.com/pmodels/mpich/commits?author=sydidelot).
Latest MPICH version 3.3 now officially supports IME.

We would like to see the same support of IME in MVAPICH, but we don't know the procedure for this.

As far as I can see, MVAPICH doesn't provide a public access to the main repository.
Do you have any plan to update MVAPICH's internal version of ROMIO against latest ROMIO code from MPICH?
Or shall I give you a patch file to apply on top of MVAPICH 2.3?

Thanks for your help,
Regards

Sylvain Didelot,
DDN Storage
