Hi Chaitra,

Many systems/users use PETSc with MVAPICH2. For example, TACC Stampede
system has a module for PETSc with MVAPICH2.

As mentioned in the below mail, we are developing an application to run on top of PETSc. As part of this, we need to integrate PETSc with MVAPICH2.  I would like to know whether other people have successfully integrated PETSc with MVAPICH2 without problems.

We are developing an application run on the top of PETSc, http://www.mcs.anl.gov/petsc/. According to the PETSc’s installation document, the MPI-runtime is pluggable, and the web site lists MPICH is a possible option. Although MVAPICH2 is derived from MPICH, I would like to know whether other people have successfully integrated PETSc with MVAPICH2 without problems.
