[mvapich-discuss] Compatibilty of configure options

Hi Pavan

These finer-grained locking semantics were mainly implemented for MPICH's
BGQ-MPI implementation. we do not expect this to work correctly with other
interfaces including ch3:psm in MVAPICH2
