[mvapich-discuss] Larger time for the parallel OpenMPI jobs

Hi,

I am running my jobs in sequential as well as in parallel mode. For
sequential it is taking 100 seconds and for OpenMPI using 12 cores it
is taking 36 seconds to complete the job.

But when I increased the number of cores, say 24, it is taking 106
seconds to finish the job.

I don't have any idea what is going happening. Any help or suggestion
will be appreciated.
