The issue exists in 1.1 branch version mvapich-1.1-2009-12-02.tar.gz. The
issue still exists in the previous branch releases as well. I tried a couple
of others and had the same issue. I am unable to use the release version of
1.1 because of a different issues which has been discussed earlier in thread
[1].
