[mvapich-discuss] Is negative host_id number from gethostbyname() a problem?

Professor DK,

We have solved the problem by reinstalling the OS and OFED. mvapich1.0
Gen2 now can run on our system. However, we saw the one-way bandwidth is
about 33% (600MBps on 4xSDR IB) less than the original pathscale MPI in
this system which is using pathscale driver (900MBps) . I will try the
PSM as you recommended.

Thank you very much.

Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know your objectives.

We have a similar older setup here (in addition to the newer cards and
setups). PSM and MVAPICH-PSM work on these cards.

I am not sure whether PSM works with Lustre or not. Might be somebody from
QLogic can answer this.

Thanks,

DK
