To this point I haven't gotten anything to run over ipoib... it happily
ssh's out using ipoib and then communicates via ethernet.  So things
run, but *excruciatingly* slowly.  And not testing IB at all.

I cannot reproduce the problem with Pallas.  If I have time I'll try
HPCC.  Any other mpi benchmarks you were thinking of?
