[mvapich-discuss] compiling mvapich-0.9.7 with Studio 11/Solaris 10 on opteron

Hello,

  Looking at the make.mvapich.udapl script, the default is to use gcc when Solaris is detected. 
  Has anyone compiled mvapich-0.9.7 using Studio 11 on Solaris 10 on an opteron system? When I substitute Studio 11 compilers, I get the following error:

checking whether the compiler /opt/studio11/SUNWspro/bin/cc -xtarget=opteron -xarch=amd64 accepts ANSI prototypes... no

*# The compiler /opt/studio11/SUNWspro/bin/cc -xtarget=opteron -xarch=amd64 does not accept ANSI prototypes

checking for gcc... found /usr/sfw/bin/gcc (gcc)

  Any help is appreciated.
