<p>CFP Deadline Extended – SEC-AAS 2019</p>
<p>There is still time to submit proposals for the 58th annual meeting of the Southeast Conference of the Association for Asian Studies to be held January 18–20, 2019 at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. More information can be found on our new website, which is <a href="http://www.sec-aas.com">http://www.sec-aas.com</a>.</p>
<p>The Call for Proposals deadline has been <strong>extended to November 15, 2018.</strong><strong> </strong>Please submit <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/19G9dA_Ae0aX2QRNpRQQXKBs0O2ZWzw-Ut00aAIWmyKQ/viewform?edit_requested=true">panel submissions here</a> and <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_Ex6fixNXfq-_kExaT-lctRE7qlOXNCXhk5OFuTJSwM/viewform?edit_requested=true">individual paper submissions</a> here. Please direct any questions about proposal submission to our program chair, Professor Han Li (<a href="mailto:hanl@rhodes.edu">hanl@rhodes.edu</a>), and questions about conference logistics to our local arrangements chair Professor Chia-rong Wu (<a href="mailto:wuc@rhodes.edu">wuc@rhodes.edu</a>).</p>
<p>Three $200 travel awards are available to graduate students. Those who wish to be considered for these awards should note this on their paper proposals. Preference will be given to students in the Southeast region who must travel more than two hundred miles to attend.</p>
