<p><a href="http://www.chengchengfilm.com/the-great-buddha/"><em>The Great Buddha</em> (大佛普拉斯)</a>, which screened recently at the Toronto International Film Festival and is Taiwan's official entry for the Academy Awards foreign film category, opens in NYC and Los Angeles in November.
