This is a service provided by BACS for the benefit of the academic community: there are no charges to readers or contributors. Our editorial board comprises leading academics from the UK Chinese Studies community and all submissions are subjected to rigorous double blind review by leading researchers from around the world. We aim to turn around submissions within a short space of time, thus making JBACS one of the fastest routes to high (REF) quality, open-access publication in Chinese Studies.

If you are interested in submitting a research paper for peer review, please see the guidelines at http://bacsuk.org.uk/journal. We also welcome short essays and research notes.

If you are interested in putting together a special issue or have any other queries about the journal, please contact the editors – Sarah Dauncey (sarah.dauncey@nottingham.ac.uk) or Gerda Wielander (g.wielander@westminster.ac.uk) – directly.
