thing. I was told that the new software erases the existing SNR baseline, which is why that SNR deviation goes to 0.0. But the solution is for the tech to perform a new 5-day average, after which that average becomes the new baseline and everything should
go back to normal. For my site, it hasn’t been five business days yet, so I have not confirmed that everything worked out as Applications explained.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-ligatures:standardcontextual">To my knowledge, we were not informed of this behavior when the software was updated to these versions. Prior versions correctly calculated SNR deviation as well as newer
versions. The QC manual does not explicitly state the need to manually calculate this value, but says “Check that all results pass and record them or export them later”, which the IQ tool does report a value (though incorrect) and a “Pass” for this test.
There is no place on the QC forms to record the baseline SNR from which the techs need calculate the deviation, implying to me that it’s not really the intended expectation.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
